SmartEye is SMARTON's real-time scene description engine. Point your phone (or wear the SMARTON Kit glasses) and SmartEye tells you what's in front of you — then lets you ask follow-up questions like 'is the door open?' or 'what colour is the shirt?'.
How it works
Point the camera or wear the glasses
SmartEye captures the scene through your phone camera or the SMARTON Kit glasses' 8MP Sony IMX219 sensor.
Hear a natural-language description
SmartEye describes what's in view — people, objects, layout, signage, colours — in a few sentences spoken aloud.
Ask follow-up questions
Ask 'is the door open?', 'what's written on the sign?', 'how many people are at the table?'. SmartEye remembers the scene and answers contextually.
