SmartON Dating is India's first dating platform designed for blind and visually impaired users. AI-described profiles (no photos required), voice introductions, and an audio-first matching flow — no visual interface needed at any step.
How it works
Set up your profile by voice
Tell MIRA about yourself — age, location, interests, what you're looking for. The Tutor structures it into a profile. Optionally upload a photo (sighted matches see it) or skip — both are equally welcome.
Hear profile descriptions
Each match's profile is described to you in natural language. Optionally hear their 30-second voice introduction in their own words.
Match through voice messages
Reply with a voice message. If both sides say yes, you're matched and can chat by voice or text — entirely in-app, with full privacy controls.
Why this matters
Voice-first matching
Hear who someone IS, not just how they look. AI describes profiles factually and respectfully — interests, hobbies, what they're looking for, voice tone, energy.
Photo-optional
Blind users can match with each other or with sighted users. Photos are never required and never shown to other blind users without consent.
Privacy-first
Audio recordings are encrypted, never used for training, and deleted on profile deletion. Real-name verification is offered (optional) to reduce scams.
Made by the community
SmartON Dating was scoped, designed, and tested by a BVI community advisory group. Every flow has been validated by real users with screen readers.
